I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science within the engineering program.Throughout my experiences, as an intern, as a teacher, and as a researcher, I’ve had the opportunity the sample a lot of what the field has to offer, and machine learning has become the crux of my prospects. Their underlying structure, the way statistics and informational sciences have been used to transform predictive algorithms, it's beautiful to me, and while the scope of their application only seems to grow day by day I want to be there for it. I'm passionate about guiding these tools so that they may best serve communities and their interests, not only by creating them, but by also ensuring they're ethical in their use. What I look for in a place of employment is a chance to nourish this curiosity and learn more through hands-on experience. Some of my current achievements include recent authorship on an academic paper on deep learning, achieving the honor roll at University of Michigan, and being a two time recipient of the HSSTP grant from interning at Ford Motor Company.
