At Alpine Energy I took a deep-dive into the Asset Management roles an owner of electrical distribution assets performs - namely,- Developed, revised and issued inspections of network assets.- Built and trialled Condition Based Asset Risk Models for network assets.- Contributed to Asset Management Plans.

Key projects with the Planning and Development Team being;- Investigation of LV network metering projects - from meter selection, communications to databasing & analysis.- PoC & initial implementation of an open-source historian (for SCADA, Power Quality & Smart Meter data)- Internal standard creation.

My time at Orion began with a student internship role investigating network opportunities. This included an investigation into the benefits of Ester oils in transformers and collating Orion's asset maintenance regimes.At the end of my internship, I undertook a fixed-term project in developing asset dynamic ratings for Orion's network to eventually be fed.
