My future as a professional is as a teacher. I am also a baseball coach, which I consider another form of teaching. As of December 2014 I am a graduate of Millersville University, with a bachelors degree in Social Studies Education. I plan to further that degree and pursue a masters of strategic leadership, education, history or sports management. I am a motivated educator and I thoroughly enjoy coaching and teaching. I believe that it provides an avenue to connect with young adults as a mentor and leader. My life experience has lead me to a place of self motivation and hard work. I have always been a people pleaser but as I mature I am becoming a leader. I am focused on creating a fulfilling college or high school experience for my players and students both in the classroom and on the field. My experience as a player was not all that I hoped for it to be until my last two years. I was in a system that did not appreciate each student athlete as an individual. After transferring I found a mentor in my head coach and I hope to continue to learn from this program. I consider myself a life-long learner and thus will always be looking for a new educational opportunity. My working life has just begun and I could not be more excited to get going.
