I lead research and consultancy projects on human factors in safety-critical industries, in particular in healthcare, process industries and air traffic management. I am a Chartered Ergonomist and Human Factors Specialist (C.ErgHF) and a Fellow of the Safety and Reliability Society (FSaRS). I work part-time in the NHS, providing education in safety investigation. I am a Trustee of the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics & Human Factors (CIEHF), where I chair the Digital Health & AI special interest group.
