- Certified Practice designation for STI/HIV care obtained from the College of Registered Nurses of BC (CRNBC), February 2014.- Independently diagnose and treat certain infections (e.g., gonorrhea) with prescription medications by following CRNBC-approved Decision Support Tools.​- Providing counselling to clients around STI/HIV testing and diagnosis. - Assisting with contact tracing to prevent further spread of infection.- Preceptor to visiting public health nurses completing their practicum requirement in order to obtain the STI/HIV certified practice designation.
