A multi award winning retailer with over 20 years of experience including the last 10 years as either a Flagship Store Manager, District Manager, or General Manager, I have forged a track record and reputation for building superb sales teams and excellent retail operations. I believe in providing the customer with an outstanding journey that includes superb service, flawless Visual Merchandising, a collaborative Marketing story and seamless operation. I have managed multi site operations across multiple markets including London, Denmark and Ireland. I have also managed the largest single site retail units in the Aldo business. I am lucky to the have been the leader in almost every size turnover of operation across my journey from a 0.5 million GBP turnover store to a 7 million GBP turnover store and can now share my experiences and problem solve every kind of challenge. I am incredibly passionate about people. I believe that the number one way to have a successful retail business is by ensuring that your team are not only well trained, but also challenged, stimulated, satisfied, happy, and with a clear vision of the expectations of the business and a future plan. I work hard to ensure that everyone has the chance to reach their full potential. The business must have great staff retention and the teams must be taken on a journey. I lead by example and never ask anyone to do anything I am not willing to do myself. I take great pride in being ‘the first man in’. From taking over in established Flagship units, to short term re building projects, to ‘starting over’ and re building our UK and Ireland business from ‘the ground up’ after administration and Franchise purchase, I have faced and shown an aptitude to overcome the most daunting of challenges. I have relentless commitment and live by the saying ‘own your business’. I am extremely creative with managing staffing levels and enjoy a challenging obstacle. I have experienced a full spectrum of situations throughout my career and always to take the opportunity to learn gratefully.

ALDO Denmark compromised of 6 stores with a total turnover of £4 million and a headcount of 50. My role included total responsibility for all aspects of the retail operation including budget deliverance, salary control, productive goal attainment, providing outstanding customer service, recruitment, training and development, quarterly reviews, visual merchandising, departmental feedback and analysis, competitive comparisons, and inventory control. All KPI’s, individual store budgets, salary costs and reduced staff turnover were improved during my time in the role. -
Flagship Store Manager, Oxford StreetAldo Group May 2016 - Nov 2016Montreal, Quebec, CaA 7 month ‘project’ to rebuild, reestablish and improve the team, train and develop for the future and improve sales and conversion in this £4.5 million turnover UK flagship store. My role was to hand over a solid team, with a succession plan, that was achieving Budget whilst maximising traffic with excellent service, visual presentation and operational efficiency. This was achieved. -
