In 2016 I returned to the United States after living and working in Europe for over 30 years. I received my Masters in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology but finished my post-grad work in Germany with a Ph.D. in Computational Economics from the University of Mannheim.My 35+ years of work experience includes a 12-year management career at Siemens, the largest German engineering company with headquarters in Munich and Berlin. Throughout my career, my leadership skills allowed the formation of a motivated workforce that delivered solutions to international clients that truly fit and delivered real customer value. During the past 25 years, I have launched, owned and sold three successful businesses and have worked as a management consultant, trainer, and coach in a wide range of industry segments including telecommunications, electronics, production, pharmaceuticals, financial services, travel, logistics, automobile, and energy. This wide range of experience allows me to understand, and potentially impact, most companies and their challenges and opportunities.My areas of interest and expertise include project and quality management (certified Six Sigma Black Belt), corporate change management, performance management and intercultural management.
