Dr. Mark T. Wright, AIA is a practicing architect and Author, with his Ph.D. in Urban planning. He concentrated his 40+ year career on developing, designing, and building affordable housing before moving to the high country of North Carolina. Now he is focusing on ecologically conscious development and the incremental preservation and restoration of the priceless stream resources. Mark received his Doctorate in Urban and Public Affairs, Planning and Development from the University of Louisville and completed his dissertation on affordable housing in 2003. That year, Mark received one of eleven HUD Scholarship awards nationwide for his dissertation research work. Mark also earned a Master in Fine Arts degree from the University of Louisville in 1992 and a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Kentucky 1980.
