Born in Far North Queensland, I’m a Boilermaker/Rigger with over sixteen years experience in the industry (both site and workshop). I have completed certificate 3 in metal fabrication as well as certificate 4 in post trade technical applications (supervisor). Also i have acquired my G1, G8, G9 mining supervisors qualification. I have obtained certificate 2 security license, and have current components including first aid and CPR.During my career i have enjoyed many roles from a Project Manager for Typhoon Project Services, a Project Construction Coordinator for Allstaff, Project and Shutdown Supervisor for Dawsons Engineering, Leading Hand/ Boilermaker for Mick Murray Welding, Safety Representative for Pacific Coast Engineering and Site First Aider/ Boilermaker for Downer. I welcome extra duties and responsibilities and look forward to a challenge.I have managed, planned, coordinated, supervised, fabricated and erected a variety of projects. I have worked in vast range of worksites including QNI, Dugald River, Incitec Pivot, Dyno Nobel Moronbah, Newcrest, Lucinda Wharf, Cape Flattery Silica Mine, Arium One Steel, Townsville Port and Port Pirie Lead Smelter. I have obtained several high Risk tickets including my non-slew crane, tele handler, open forklift, elevated work platform, dogging, rigging, MSIC marine inductions, poly-pipe butt welding certification, confined space and working at heights. I have a high understanding of machinery and tools as well as a high regard for safety aspects that are involved.I am an honest, hardworking and reliable worker with a strong work ethic. I am able to work well in a team as well as being able to excel working on my own. I understand the value of hard work and am not afraid to work under pressure and to a consistently high standard.
