Built and led the financial and administrative team to support the integrated tug/barge and trucking operation, building the company to $130 million in annual revenue, $125 million in assets, with 200+ employees.Member of the roadshow team in 1997, completing the IPO in July, raising $30 million, that was used to fund the expansion of the vessel and container fleet, enabling the company to expand its service offerings and enter new trade lanes, including a Coastwise Service, providing cost-effective transportation between ports along the east coast, in addition to the startup of a Jacksonville, Florida to the Dominican Republic Service.In the CFO role, responsibilities included SEC Compliance, Investor Relations, Sarbanes Oxley Compliance, Information Technology, Planning and Analysis, Accounting and General Administration. Also participated in numerous quarterly investor conference calls, road shows and outside investor conferences. As Co-CEO, CEO/CAO and Board Member, led the company through the Chapter 11 process in 2011/12 resulting in full payment to unsecured trade creditors, completed in four months, all while maintaining and growing the business operation through the restructuring process, plus two years post emergence.
