I have helped the boards of international banks and large companies to manage crises resulting from failures in their compliance processes and advised them on how to improve their risk processes to ensure that such problems did not happen in the future. I built large international teams of professionals designed to perform at the highest level. And I managed large budgets both internally and for projects. Whilst I retain a foothold in this world as a Director of a company supporting Regtech and Lawtech start ups, I am now also applying those skills to the not for profit sector, helping ground breaking charities such as Sal's Shoes and 20/20 Change, to grow and to engage with even more people, and to performing arts organisations such as the leading contemporary dance company, Rambert, and to Good Vibrations, using the Gamelan to reintegrate people back into society. Every day I meet inspiring people who are making a huge impact on the world around them in so many different ways. I hope that I can do my bit in whatever way I can.

TrusteeSal'S Shoes Feb 2023 - PresentEdenbridge, Kent, GbOver the last 9 years, Sal's Shoes have recycled over 4 million pre loved pairs of shoes in over 59 countries around the world - including many in the UK - and the number is increasing. Shoes are donated by individuals who send their family's pre-loved shoes to Sal's with a small donation, or by school communities who are inspired by Sal's story to send donations of pre loved shoes in bulk, for Sal's to recycle. The shoes are then packed by volunteers (including teams from commercial organisations who want to contribute their time) into boxes and finally delivered by van to community centres in the UK or by charities to schools across the world for onward distribution to new owners who can attend school, play sport and visit the beach knowing that their feet are protected.
