Reporting to the Operations Director with overall responsibility for the 72,000 sq.ft and 68,000 sq.ft Distribution Centres in Leeds Key objectives• Driving the management team to improve the efficiency of the depot through managing the productivity and costs of transport, warehouse and the total depot operations in FMCG .• Lead and develop a unionised team of circa 300 FTE through direct line reports to driving operational efficiencies, service excellence and productivity within the business, to agreed levels and company KPI measurements.• Full budget responsibility.• Compliance and Planning responsibility for a mixed fleet of circa 40 vehicles.• Energising and building the whole team through focusing people on improvement, the right selection of people, identifying talent and ensuring appropriate learning and development activity is in place.
