Responsibilities:* Member of PLC Board* Management of Finance / IT / Risk and Compliance* Management of key relationships (brokers, analysts, auditors, lawyers, bankers)* Responsible for formulation / implementation of key Group strategies (e.g. funding, acquisitions)Key developments /initiatives:* Development / implementation of new branch systems.* Implementation of a new risk management framework including the development and establishment of the Group’s Risk and Compliance function.* Establishment of a retail deposits business which generated over £200m of funding.* Successful completion/integration of 8 acquisitions.

Responsibilities:* Financial / business management for the 5 TV / Radio Production units (turnover £130m) within the English regional centres.* Production / interpretation of management information.* Product / project costing to support programme price negotiations and ongoing cost management.Developments /initiatives:* Rationalisation of the financial / business management structures and services across the English Region.* Establishment of a commercial function to negotiate TV / radio contracts and to maximise third party income.

Responsibilities:* Management of Finance department including a team of Accountants based in Manchester, Leeds and Newcastle.* Production / interpretation of management information for the senior management team.Developments /initiatives:* Restructure of the Finance department* Overhaul of financial / internal control systems* Development of an Executive Information Pack
