Managed the School’s training development workload for 87 authorized training developers supporting an annual student load of over 6,000 students attending 38 different courses at all levels from initial entry, through advanced leadership, and culminating in senior leadership training. Reviewed capability requirements documents and developed training strategies and Training Aides, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS) requirements for developing Army Aviation systems. Coordinated with Program Executive Office, Aviation for training support package (TSP) acquisition and delivery prior to programmed training start dates. Managed system concurrency and obsolescence for a maintenance training device fleet valued at over $2 billion. Provided a positive work environment for 50 department personnel and evaluated candidates for placement in critical, nominative only positions.Accomplishments in position:• Developed requirements for and coordinated the procurement of the Army’s first virtual aviation maintenance trainer• Led the Integrated Process Team that created a new military occupational specialty (job series) to repair Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), saving the US Army $20 million annually• Coordinated a 100% review of all entry level courses, validating that the correct critical tasks were being trained while reducing total course lengths by 12 weeks• Established an advanced learning classroom program, employing cloud computing and smart sympodiums• Developed the School’s learning model and identified required technologies to implement by 2015

Provided life-support, armament and equipment for 108 assigned American mentors and mentored the Afghan Brigade Executive Officer to provide the same to his 3,500 assigned Afghan Soldiers. Led and directed joint American-Afghan combat operations coordinating actions of five subordinate Afghan Battalions, three US Infantry Companies, and four US and Lithuanian Special Forces teams. Served as and project manager for integrating two new aviation systems into the School’s training, coordinating the delivery of both lesson plans and training devices. Designed and supervised the training device acceptance test plan for four new maintenance training devices. Served as an Aviation Logistics Subject Matter Expert on the Army Aviation Transformation Task Force. Served as the School’s lead for Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and Unit Level Logistics System-Aviation. Accomplishments in position:• Led the School development team that redesigned the aviation maintenance NCO leadership training, incorporating more scenario based, problem solving scenarios for Soldiers to demonstrate learning• Managed a $1.6 million training implementation project for aviation maintenance software, installing the school’s first cloud computing automation system.• Served on the integrated product team that developed the strategy for and converted aviation maintenance from three to two echelons and redesigned aviation maintenance unit personnel and equipment structures to support split-based operations.• Developed the strategy to convert UAS maintenance from contractor logistics support to Soldier maintenance, reducing the need for civilian contractors in combat locations
