At Bossy Girl Leadership, a workforce development and training firm based in Pennsylvania's capital region, we work with businesses to create cultures of servant leadership that promote diversity and empower women. We also help governments work better with small businesses like ours, with Pennsylvania's family-owned farms, and with our growing tech and local banking industries. My wife, Kristal Markle-Temons, founded Bossy Girl Leadership in 2017 and has two decades of experience as a keynote speaker, training facilitator, and executive leadership consultant. She literally wrote the book on leadership development in Pennsylvania. Now she trains executives to embrace and then really execute servant leadership at every level of their organization, implementing initiatives that foster the quantifiable and qualitative changes they want to make. Kristal believes that servant leadership is "courageous love in action." Our mission is to create servant leaders, and we train and advise successful companies that are committed to achieving their mission while creating rewarding careers and meaningful communities for employees and their families. I am a former residential construction designer, carpenter, and PA-licensed Home Improvement Contractor. I built custom homes that are energy-efficient, sustainable, and accessible. I spent my last years in construction designing home improvement projects for wheelchair accessibility in a partnership with nonprofits and state agencies to keep people living in their homes through retirement or disability. I personally designed on site and managed to completion more than 500 accessible remodels, and nearly 1000 Pennsylvanians from across the commonwealth are living at home instead of in care facilities because of those projects. Those 500 projects have saved Pennsylvania taxpayers more than 10 million dollars in nursing home costs. Kristal Markle-Temons and I know how to make government work better for all of us.I'm a community organizer and an advocate for good schools, good jobs, and equal rights.I am also running to represent York and Cumberland counties in the PA State Senate.
