Function: InternshipDepartment: Credit ControlSPIE Netherlands provides energy, safety and environmentally focused solutions through multi-technical and support services from initial design, through installation, testing, commissioning to long term maintenance and facilities management.The Credit Control department of SPIE takes care of credit management, cash management, treasury management, database management and more. My assignment was to investigate the possible optimization points for the service to the internal customers (management & the six divisions of SPIE). I received this assignment because my colleagues told me that they had a problem with the amount of “small” invoices. They didn’t have the time to give each division the service they want to give them because this amount of invoices takes too much time. So how could I solve this problem? After my investigation I was able to conclude that SEPA Direct Debit is the solution to the problem. After this conclusion I worked together with the IT to implement SEPA Direct Debit in the ERP system (AX Dynamics).
