Mr. Thiele holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Miami and is a licensed architect in Florida. He closed his own design firm and joined Mayo Clinic Planning and Design in 2010 and has led many project types which have received design awards for excellence and innovation. He currently leads the in-house design team in Florida of four architects and nine interior designers while assisting with the coordination of innovations and best design practices with all of Mayo Clinic planning and design. He has served as the project designer, interior designer, project architect, project manager, construction manager, and project principal on numerous projects and assists with the ongoing maintenance of the Florida Campus.
