Within this role I personally managed a team of 14 analysts in their day-to-day business and development, liaising with senior officers and partner agencies, preparing both strategic and tactical documents and constantly enhancing and developing the analytical requirements of the organisation. It also involved attending internal management and strategy meetings as well as representing the force at numerous national and regional groups/meetings. I have also been an integral member of the investigation team on many high profile major incidents that have occurred within the force of the past 4 years.

Within this role I worked in several different areas, including as the lead analyst for the Local Policing Areas of Monmouthshire and Torfaen; within the Organised Crime Unit; the Major Incident Team and as a Strategic Analyst. The role required a wide range of analytical skills including, Crime Pattern Analysis, Telecoms Analysis, Time Lines, Mapping, Temporal Analysis and Profiling. It also involved conducting regular presentations and briefings to senior managers and investigation teams.

I worked as part of the product management team reporting to the Senior Product Manager, and was responsible for key portfolio areas of the business. Within my role I negotiated contracts with high profile companies such as Bic, Sandford and Trump; sold page space within our sales catalogue; analysed sales figures and product data and dealt with any customer queries or complaints that arose.

Multimedia PR & Marketing -; I worked as part of the PR and marketing team in the technology side of the business which included liaising with clients, such as Datrontech, ACC and Ubiquity; talking to journalists; arranging press conferences/meetings and monitoring all press coverage. I also wrote press releases on behalf of our clients and looked for opportunities to contribute quotes to articles within the trade press.
