• The preflight planning, issuance of a flight release, route analysis, monitoring flight progress en-route and providing the latest available information with the Captain for the safety of the flight.• Continual evaluation of the fleet's operational environment with regards to weather, NOTAMs, airport and route closures and anything else that adversely affect the safety of a flight.• Communicate with maintenance, and Owner Services all aspects of the scheduled route and advise of any diversions or other information relating to the flight.• Disseminate all safety under Federal Aviation Administration FAR parts 135, 91K, & 91,as well as DOT and State, local and company policies.• TDY Training Scheduling establishing and maintaining pilot training including IOE, recurrent training, line checks and any addition instruction required.• Responsibility to reroute or redirect a flight based upon purely economic considerations. This may include, but is not limited to, instructions pertaining to special routings, passenger convenience, aircraft and crew utilization.• Collect and update data for various logs and reports.• Monitors and updates weather and communicates this information to the PIC of each flight dispatched.• Provides the PIC of each flight dispatched with all information necessary for a safe operation.• Monitors the progress of each flight dispatched.
