Manage a department of estimating staff which includes but not limited to:- Accountability of department work output- Staff performance management- Implement systems & processes to ensure consistency across dept- Ensure customer lead times are met- Submit monthly report to upper management - Identify & Develop new business opportunities by reviewing quote outcomes and suggesting sales strategies to maximise sales revenueBusiness Initiatives Implemented:- Quote register tracking platform to more accurately process breakdown quote outcomes/results to provide visibility for areas of improvement to retail branches and sales team- Workload register to review work output of the estimating dept and allow accountability of individual estimating staff- Estimating Training Matrix to ensure best practice and uniform work methods are used across estimating dept

Prepare fixed cost quotation documents for building projects utilising client plans including but not limited to: - Material Surveying - Labour & Plant Equipment/EWP required- Identify & develop new business opportunities by approaching new builders and following up industry leads- Follow up on submitted tenders and execute sales strategies to maximise sales revenue- Meet with Builders & Architects to market KRC and provide consultation to upcoming projects to following company levels: - Estimators - Project - Directors- Assist the Director in Project Management - Checking supplier invoices - Processing of material orders for manufacturing - Organising material to siteBusiness Initiatives Implemented:- Estimating process system to increase more accurately process and breakdown quote costing & projects Profit & Loss- Quotation processing/tracking system to provide reports on best builders vs return to business, similar pricing competitiveness, competitor pricing & project win/loss ratio- Streamline quotation submission & follow up process- Records to maintain competitiveness of supplier pricing- Developed office processes to link individual business departments
