• Reports directly to the Project Manager• In-charge of sourcing and purchasing - local and international - of all major contractual and consumable items• Ensure that the highest quality products which conform to requirements and specifications are purchased at the best competitive price and delivered / received in timely manner• Coordination activities between project management, engineering, construction, subcontractors and client• Ensure strict adherence to an efficient and timely process, in line with schedules and planned dates• Finalize & negotiate to the best interest of the company; Negotiation of payment terms and guarantees• Follow-up and expedite orders; Ensure coordination with general project schedule• Coordinates with Material Controller for material delivery, material delivered on site, incoming deliveries, ETA’s• Selection of supplier based on price, delivery, reliability, reputation and client’s specification compliance• Preparation of material submittal for approval of client – eg. Reimbursable material request, bid tabulations, specification comparison table, catalogues, etc.• Coordinates with the project Material Controller regarding inventory and availability of stocks• Handle and coordination of free issued materials for Drilling Rig projects at the initial stage• Prepares Procurement Reports• Monitors and updates invoice log and material tracking log• Receiving and matching of delivery notes / GRN and vendor invoices• Receipt, handling, control and preparation of invoices’ relevant attachment for forwarding to Accounts Department for payment
