I joined the family florist (retail) business when I was sixteen and spent the best part of two decades helping to build up the chain of shops in and around Harrogate before the stores were sold at the start of the "global downturn" in 2007.My hobby of running a successful video gaming website turned into a full job when I moved to GameFrontier in September of the same year. Here I have honed my digital marketing and general IT skills fulfilling a wide ranging number of roles in my position as account manager. These have ranged from designing business stationary to designing and managing a 500m2 exhibition space as the centre piece of Gitex Expo at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Taking an enquiry from Emirates Airlines into a fully installed and operational digital entertainment zone in their Dubai business class lounge or helping shape the online community presence for Dell / Alienware EMEA.2015 saw a move to eCommerce as a campaign manager at VOW Retail. With a primary responsibility for PostOfficeShop.co.uk this role has both moved and developed into other areas of the EVO Group eventually into eCommerce in it's own right. Now helping to maximise opportunities across our online platforms which now include Staples.co.uk
