Responsible for the management, operation, and strategic direction of multiple technology departments at SEI supporting data center operation, private cloud and Kubernetes based enterprise container platform, corporate IT and communications, system administration, database administration, middleware, network, identity access management, service desk support, business application support, CMDB system, and many other platforms and systems.Manage a global team of five senior IT Directors and 200+ personnel supporting the above mentioned technologies and platforms. This includes support of proprietary and vendor technologies across many different platforms including EMC, VMWare, Cisco, Microsoft, Microsoft365, Oracle, Rancher/Docker, Linux, Windows, etc, as well support of public cloud applications on Microsoft Azure.

* Manage the production environment, operation, and direction of over 150 critical applications for the company’s five major business units and over 10 internal units. Applications are responsible for the management of billions of dollars and the movement of hundreds of millions of dollars daily for well over 100 clients in the following business sectors: Private Banking, Investment Advisors, Institutional Investors, Investment Managers, and Wealth Management.* Manage a technology budget of well into the tens of millions of dollars.* Responsible for management of seven Senior Team Leads and over 150 individuals, consultants and employees, located in multiple locations in two different countries.* Responsible for an infrastructure of over 1500 physical/virtual servers, over 30 TB Terabytes of multi-tiered EMC Symmetrix storage utilizing a variety of software solutions: Windows/Unix/Linux/zOS Operating Systems, Citrix Presentation Server, Microsoft IIS, MSSQL 2005/2008, CONNECT: Direct, BMC Patrol, VMWare (ESX), Netegrity Siteminder, Apache, WebLogic, Oracle 10g/11g and other proprietary or third-party software.

* Managed the production environment, operation, and direction of 10 critical applications, used to support a wide variety of critical, time-sensitive financial operations including but not limited to: account management, cash processing, contact management, trust fund accounting, performance reporting, and trading and portfolio management. Applications supported nearly 100 distinct clients including many of the nation’s largest private banks. Combined value of all applications represents well over 20 million in annual recurring revenue.• Responsible for management of 13 individuals, an infrastructure of 145 physical servers, 43 virtual servers, and 5.25 Terabytes of EMC Symmetrix storage.• Directed a year-long project to migrate our most critical cash processing /CRM application from a client-server to a web- based platform. Coordinated policy and action among over fifty individuals representing at least 15 different teams, including direct coordination with clients. Actions resulted in the successful migration of all 20 clients to the new platform, a reduction in infrastructure of over 40 physical servers, and sparked growth in the application from 20 clients/2500 seats to 50 clients/8200 seats.

* Assisted in the development and lead the QA process in the creation of a data replication application used to transfer andload vital account and financial transaction information from an onsite flat file data warehouse to a MSSQL Server relational database hosted at numerous clients’ data centers

* Managed the operation of two 550-megawatt nuclear reactors and associated systems and over 60 operators without incident during 1800+ hours of active duty. * Qualified Propulsion Duty Officer (one of two junior officers in a peer group of 20): Responsible for all in-portshutdown maintenance and operations of a 400-man department during assigned duty day* Developed only program among all navy nuclear ships for the shipment of radioactive materials outside shipyard environment. Directed flawless shipment of over 100 radioactive material items.* Noted by Commanding Officer for improving twelve administrative areas while increasing manning effectiveness of 18 engineering laboratory technicians resulting in the most successful Type Commander inspection in three years.* Awarded Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal: Mature and decisive control of watchteam of thirty personnel during demanding propulsion plant examination period* Certified Nuclear Propulsion Officer after 1.5 years formal training and instruction, 3 years practical experience followed by comprehensive exam by Naval Reactors in Washington, DC.
