About Mark Timberlake

An apprentice trained mechanical engineer initially from the Power Generation Industry gaining comprehensive hands on and technical experience with a wide range of plant including steam turbines, pumps, fans, gearboxes and drives, compressors and associated pneumatic components and circuits, valves and related rotating equipment, hydraulic componentry. A move to manufacturing with the automotive OEM giant DENSO Corporation added production supervisor, quality engineer, quality control manager and project manager to my remit, before moving into key account management in the sales department. Denso Marston (DNMN) were involved in the design and manufacture of high performance heat exchangers for use in car, truck, off highway and power generation applications.I then moved into the fastener industry with roles involving bespoke fastener solutions and specialist installation equipment and then onto application engineering, designing and specifying more focussed resolutions to specific fastening issues.A transfer to the construction industry followed, where I was involved in specifying and selling innovative, award winning architectural fenestration products, progressing from Technical Sales Representative to Account Manager and on to Regional Sales Manager.With additional technical and managerial qualifications and a background spanning over twenty years in a Technical Sales environment, I have experience in a broad spectrum of industries including, automotive, aerospace, industrial and construction.Always involved in a consultative, solution based sales process with high end technical products my emphasis is to cultivate a relationship development and management mindset.An experienced, analytical problem solver and solution finder with a practical approach to training and coaching. I have extensive knowledge of the planning, set up, and attendance at national and international exhibitions, trade shows and networking events.Comfortable with communicating at all levels and with all stakeholders within a business, coupled with considerable exposure to national and international travel, diary management and call plan optimisation. Skilled at identifying and capturing market opportunities to accelerate expansion, increase revenues, improve profit contributions & expand customer base.
