About Mark Timcenko

I am a recent graduate from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts where I earned a degree in game design, focusing on the study of games and play. More specifically, I studied why certain players play certain games, what makes them play these games, and how we as designers can create experiences that specific players are looking for. I have 3 years of experience teaching game design where I designed dozens of games with my students in a variety of environments such as Unity, Gamemaker 2, and Construct 3. In 2022, I worked to help launch a startup that brings STEM/Game design to schools that otherwise would not have the option.
