Security Systems Engineer
CurrentMy role with Chubb Fire and Security is to carry out installation works mainly, but not solely, within Cambridge University. Working to exceptionally high standards, I have been appointed as the Supervising Engineer on some of the major projects within the University, and this has enabled me to develop my skill set in managing a team of engineers by scheduling and assigning the workload, as well as taking overall responsibility of leading daily Health and Safety briefings, and report writing and updating my line manager at the end of each day. I have also completed installation works in private domestic premises as well as commercial sites such as banks, chain stores and Farms. Working without supervision, I am natural problem solver with creative thinking, and take full ownership of contracts to completion. My experience includes:Access control: installed buildings and completed networking for fully functional doors with DDA functionality, Maglocks installation or electronic strikesCCTV: Installations completed both on customers network or stand alone, I have experience in setting remote systems via an app over the internet. I adapt my technological knowledge in line with rapid industry advancementsIntruder Alarms – Installations of alarms from domestic premises to large corporate banks and building societiesServicing and maintenance of Intruder alarms, CCTV and Access Control for commercial and domestic premises to the relevant NACOSS standards
