Central to the effective running and delivery of a wide range of functional services covering leisure, outdoor and community services, Libraries and town halls and events delivery, as well as management of the overall estate; accountable for ensuring the Function operates to the highest standards and that the provision of services complies with all relevant legislation and regulations and working collaboratively with the other Directors to deliver the charity’s strategic objectives. This includes regulatory and statutory reporting and being involved in setting the strategic direction for the business.

Since 2003 the Scottish Leisure Network Group (SLNG) has provided senior operational managers within leisure trusts and local authorities throughout Scotland with the opportunity to network, benchmark and share best practise. The group meets six times per year to discuss pertinent topics and hear from speakers and industry experts.The SLNG has grown exponentially over the last 10 years and now draws members from every single leisure trust and local authority leisure provider in Scotland.
