I am currently seeking a new career opportunity in the Construction Industry. I have a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with Construction Option from North Carolina State University. I have 20+ years of experience working as a Construction Consultant with Newbanks, Inc./Raleigh. During my time at Newbanks, I provided third-party construction consulting services to Banks, Lenders, Investors, Tax Credit Syndicators, Equity Groups, & other stakeholders. One of my primary functions was to provide up-front Plan & Cost Reviews/Front End Analysis Reports for newly proposed construction projects prior to or recently after the loan closing process. Another core function of mine was to provide periodic (typically monthly) monitoring of construction projects in order to approve funding of Draw Requests, provide updates on the progress and status of construction, comment on change orders and contingency expenditures, discuss any problems or issues, comment on the project schedule and anticipated completion timeframes, etc. I also provided additional services such as Property Condition Assessments (PCA's), Property Needs Assessments (PNA's), Capital Needs Assessments (CNA's), Cost-to-Complete Analyses, and other similar third-party/due diligence services as requested by Clients. I also have previious experience working in management/superintendent capacities in both commercial and single-family residential projects.
