Mark Tuchmann is a 30+ year veteran in the transportation and logistics industry. He has a background and track record of driving top and bottom-line results through the use of technology, innovation and building teams. He is a strong communicator of both strategic and operational priorities at all levels of an organization.In 1989, during his senior year in college, the idea to start a Courier/Messenger Company was supposed to be a part-time way to have a little extra pocket cash. As most entrepreneurs discover, “a little” is never the case and that lead to the creation of BeavEx.Mark was the Founder of BeavEx which in 2013 was a 300M organization and one of the leading providers of same-day transportation services in the United States. He served as Chairman and CEO of BeavEx from 1989 until 2014. Mark oversaw the company's organic expansion nationwide as well as the completion of over 15 acquisitions. He built a team of direct reports responsible for all aspects of the company including Business Development, Technology, Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Vendor/Independent Contractors and the company's acquisition program. At the peak, BeavEx consisted of over 4,500 drivers and internal support staff. Mark sold a controlling interest to Private Equity in 2011.After 25 years in the Transportation Industry, it was time to explore what will be next. That process kept leading back to Building People, Teams and Organizations. Mark has continued to add value by Founding, Consulting(Million & Assoc) and various Board roles with companies such as CXT Software, ClearConnect Solutions Group, LLC, TIP National, LLC, TForce, Seven Bridges Supply, Specialized Medical Services, Banyan Investment Partners, The Riverside Company and many other Mezzanine Lenders and Private Equity Firms.
