My role is to introduce futsal to as many people as possible throughout mid Cornwall. I do this by organising, promoting and running futsal leagues, tournaments, school activities and school clubs.Although small sided football is nothing new in this country, Futsal, the version approved by governing bodies FIFA, UEFA and the FA, entertaining its only national and international tournaments for club teams and national teams including FIFA futsal world cup and EUFA Euro championships, is, relatively new to the UK. The number of participants is growing rapidly and it is my role to work with the Cornwall County FA, schools and clubs to increase awareness and participation in Cornwall and ensure that our residents have access to the game as readily as other areas of the country.
