I graduated in late May from the Harvard Graduate School of Design with a Post‐Professional Masters Degree in Architecture and Urban Design. While at Harvard, I focused on Urban Design initiatives, including large‐scale, regional frameworks that meet local needs and provide equitable distribution of services across socio-economic strata. Recently, I concluded a project located in Beijing, China, with Professors Kongjian Yu and Peter Rowe, developing political and physical strategies to provide safe and sanitary housing in a polluted landscape. Professor Yu specifically touched on concerns of ecology, including the economic and cultural implications of rapid urbanization and industrialization. I have also focused on the privatization of housing in a public landscape under Peter Rowe, positioning the housing models in the Western world to those of China to provide strong policy objectives as they develop rapidly.Architecturally, I have been involved in project design and development of projects across the United States with a focus on the west coast. I have been on design teams for projects from San Diego's Convention Center Expansion (500,000 sq ft addition to the facility), to the team developing the construction documents for Pei Cobb Freed's 880 West Broadway Tower (18‐storycommercial building) in downtown San Diego.I would like to continue developing a discourse in Urban Design, and would appreciate the opportunity discuss employment opportunities with your firm.
