I set up an engineering and consulting business in Adelaide, South Australia. This business offered a 24 hour, 7 days a week service. During this time, I learned a lot about running a business and building customer and supplier relationships. At M.R.U.Engineering we were involved with heavy and light engineering, maintenance, design and fabrication for a number of large food and packaging companies in the Asia Pacific.

I have been instrumental in setting up and planning the workshop to attain API Accreditation. During this time, I helped to set up a new department as part of a joint venture to provide a professional load testing, NDT service to the oil and gas industry in Indonesia. My skills have been extensively used, for the valuation of new and second-hand oil field equipment, from rigs to vehicles.
