Organizational context - Spanning approximately 250 square kilometres in northern York Region, the town is reported through census data as the fasted growing municipality in Canada! A mix of rural and urban consisting of approximately 36k residents. Provincially designated for exponential growth, the town's population is projected to exceed 50K by 2031 and is projected to grow to 127k by 2051. The publicly elected Council consists of the Mayor and 6 ward councillors. Position - Reporting to the Mayor and Council, assumed the role of Chief Administrative Officer in 2023. Led the development of the nationally recognized Municipal Peak Performance Program to drive innovation, improve municipal services and reduce cost. Lead the team in response to the Covid pandemic and "Optimal Service Delivery" recovery planning. Facilitate strategic organizational development initiatives and provide organizational leadership and support to the senior management team as well as to the elected Council. Since joining the Town in 2009 in the role of General Manager of Corporate Services/Treasurer, have provided leadership in a variety of functional areas including Finance as Treasurer, Human Resources and Organizational Development, Communications and Public Engagement, Customer Service, Clerk's Office and Municipal Elections, Information Management and Technology, Modernization and Transformation, Data Analytics and Geographic Information Systems, Bylaw Enforcement and Licensing, Economic and Community Development as well as interim oversight of Development Services (Planning and Building branches). Led the creation and implementation of the corporate culture framework based on 4 key commitments focused on Customer Experience, Creativity and Innovation, Partnerships and Collaboration, and Lifelong Learning.

Organizational context - The LSRCA provides environmental planning, programs and enforcement within the 3,300 square kilometre Lake Simcoe watershed in accordance with the Conservation Authorities Act, working in partnership with 18 municipalities, the provincial and federal government. The 19 member Board of Directors consists of Mayors, councillors and public representatives appointed by the partner municipalities.Position - Provided leadership and support to a team of 18 staff responsible for all major corporate services including finance, budget development and management, corporate communications, information technology, geographic information systems, freedom of information requests and records management.

Organizational context - The SCDSB provides education and support services to approximately 50k students in approximately 110 schools and learning centres spread over 4,800 square kilometres with an annual operating budget during this period of approximately $375M. The 12 member Board of Trustees represent the municipalities and First Nations communities within Simcoe County. Position - Accountable for the strategic and operational leadership and support to a team of 35 unionized and non-union staff including five divisional managers. Responsible for all major business operations including budget development and management, payroll and benefit processing. risk management and insurance, purchasing, accounting, finance and internal audit.

Organizational context - In 1998 the TDSB was created through the amalgamation of six area school boards and the Metro Toronto School Board. In 1998 the TDSB was the largest school board in Canada, providing education and support services to over 250K students in approximately 600 schools with an annual budget of approximately $2.2B. The school board consists of 22 publicly elected Trustees.Position - Established a divisional management team, facilitated and led the amalgamation of six former school board operations in a variety of Ancillary Services areas including transportation, risk management, courier delivery/distribution, printing and telecommunications. Provided strategic leadership in the establishment of cost effective operational models, policies and business processes for the newly amalgamated organization.
