Starting my career as an electrical engineer, I have worked quickly up to supervisor, manager, project manager, and now contract manager; this is by displaying fundamental communication, leadership, and organisational skills. With 16 years in the industry, I have extensive technical knowledge as well as project management and contract management experience. This is specifically in the commercial and industrial environments across the UK. Whilst working as a project manager, I have led several medium- to large-scale projects from the tender/ bidding process, contract set up between subcontractor and my business and that of my own company and the client. Leading from the design stage through to final testing and commissioning. Aside from leading a team of engineers, supervisors and site managers, I am also responsible for meeting with clients to discuss KPIs and industry risks and developing client and end-user relations. I take great pride in junior colleagues' development, training, and mentoring. I am always keen to expand my knowledge and experience through meeting and collaborating with colleagues in the industry, both in the UK and beyond.
