• As an API voting member representing American Midstream, I chaired the API MPMS Chapter 18.2 “Custody Transfer of Crude Oil from Lease Tanks Using Alternative Measurement Methods Committee.”
• Responsible for planning, directing, and managing the employees, programs, policies and procedures that lead to the accurate measurement of Crude Oil throughout the American Midstream’s Pipelines and Terminals.
• Responsible for monitoring daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly gain-loss discrepancies, providing detailed analysis of data and leading troubleshooting efforts for mitigation of measurement discrepancies by implementing.
• Ascertain the company’s compliance with the Measurement Manual by providing training and daily guidance for the Measurement Supervisors, Technicians, Control Center personnel, and Pipeline and Terminal management.
• Establish and ensure adherence to measurement policies across all areas, with strong emphasis on liquid Measurement.
• Supervise pipeline Measurement group and ensure that schedules for the meter technicians are established so that all provings and water draws are completed within API and Company approved time frames.

• Provide technical support to multiple clients and internal associates in respect of flow measurement, sampling, instrumentation and analytical systems.
• Conduct assurance audits on flow measurement, sampling, instrumentation and allocation systems for clients or on behalf of partner groups.
• Act as liaise with clients in the formulation, execution and delivery of agreed work scopes with respect to instrumentation and liquid measurement.
• Conduct surveys for clients and make reasoned recommendations for resolution of problems and / or system improvements.
• Ensure the delivery of professional, impartial and industry leading hydrocarbon flow measurement consultancy services to multiple clients worldwide.
• Fully effectively analyze, advise,, communicate and report upon complex technical and financial allocation and flow measurement situations and needs.

• Document the meter factor history for each meter. Develop and analyze trends to identify meter factor drift, mechanical issues or other problems that degrade accuracy of the volumetric results.

• I am responsible for the supervision of pipeline technical maintenance activities through direction of electrical/electronics, mechanical technicians, maintenance and operations personnel as well as perform project.
• Provide guidance to resolve operational problems as required. Work unified with shared service departments to maintain consistency with all areas of business and maximize benefits of all departments.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations, company policy and company required maintenance inspections.
• Manage technical maintenance expense budget to complete required repairs/upgrades at a minimum cost.
• Perform budget forecasting as appropriate. Support and assist with HES training activities, updates and compliance with HES policies and procedures.
• Provide recommendations for system operational improvements through submission of capital and expense projects as part of the annual budgeting process.

• Responsible for maintaining, installing, repairing, testing, operating and trouble shooting elements of the transmission facilities within the southern Oklahoma area.
• Install and/or maintenance repairs or revisions to electrical/electronic equipment within the southern Oklahoma area, including but not limited to: trouble-shooting, repair and installation of motors; MOVs; product.
• Proactively identify and make recommendations to various problems. Supply preventive maintenance and replacement of various types of mechanical and electrical equipment and accessories.
• Efficiently minimize costs of equipment and projects through hands-on techniques and recommendations.
• Supervise and inspect performance of contract work on various projects.

• Inspected, certified, calibrated, repaired and rebuilt liquid measurement devices as needed.
• Manufactured, rebuilt, wired, installed, troubleshooted, and repaired Lease Automated Customer Transfer Units (LACT Units), Flow computers, Sampling Systems and other liquid measuring equipment.
• Traveled extensively as required, the United States, Canada, Mexico, Venezuela, and Argentina to oversee and troubleshoot the installation and start up of Micromotion Coriolis mass meters and meter proving systems.
• Primary designer on Primary Measurement Device (PMD) project. Designed an electronic device which utilized the mass reading from a Mass meter to calculate net and gross volume and flow rates, convert API gravity.
