At PVI I worked on the production line building Potentiometer elements and Accelerator foot pedal boxes.I had to be able to work fast and efficiently and be a good team player while always keeping the highest standard of quality, I learned a great deal of how the line operated from specific training and was able to get involved with setting up the line and carrying out basic maintenance and adjustments throughout the batch runs and managing changeovers of our product. I was one of only 4 people selected to go to Germany where our new automated line was being built and take part in its development so I could learn how to set up and maintain it and work out a better process flow for the operators and then train staff members when it arrived back in the UK.
