Carrying out general vehicle repairs and maintenance on a daily basis also making sure all sold cars are prepared properly before customers picked them up. Also involved in the running of the workshop including ordering parts liasing with customers whose vehicles are in for repair. I act as a assistant manager but also take on a lot of the managers roles when he is on vacation ect.

Previously working as a fleet support technician covering 200+ vans and 20 7.5T lorries. General servicing and maintenance of all vans up to 3.5T and making sure the 7.5T lorries meet VOSA requirements to be used on the road on a daily basis.I also cover for my manager when on vacation so am familiar with making decisions that keep vehicles on the road if there is a breakdown. currently on 24hour callout and work all sorts of hours to keep all vehicles on the road earning money for the company.

General day to day was to validate all diagnostic software that is used by all technicians globally within the Ford dealer network and report any issues with software to the engineers responsible for that certain part. Also represented Ford Motor company whilst visiting dealers who had localised issues with software or the hardware.
