Managing DirectorVarsity International Jun 2017 - Feb 2020Oxford, GbI managed a small team of full time staff who achieved big things! Together we delivered brilliant English language programmes integrating international students with local British children. We achieved high levels of student, parent and agent satisfaction and our pastoral care was described as ‘outstanding’ in our 2019 BAC inspection.I developed the programmes to appeal to our target audience and constantly looked for ways to improve the quality of delivery. I built the core product offering whilst remaining flexible to the opportunities that the market presented and the opportunities that came from being part of Dukes Education Group. I worked to nurture commercial relationships with 50 core international agents as well as establishing connections with a further 100 prospective international agents. I placed the company in a strong position for the 2020 season and international booking numbers started the year ahead of 2019 with more students looking to experience the unique, rewarding and beneficial programmes the Varsity has to offer. -
