My insurance life originated as an independent adjuster, and I am back in this role, now serving a broader community of clients with commercial property risks, in the United States and abroad. I have been fortunate in my career to move from one well founded company to another, (again), desiring to resolve complex issues, while transferring knowledge within the industry.

I am a member of the Commercial Property Claims Division, working from my home city of San Francisco, tasked with assisting to resolve casualties sustained by our clients.

Diversified position in international commercial property insurance serving in management, quality control, technical functions and as mentor. My job role was “you will handle it all.” I succeeded in addressing complex and litigated matters, and served as a liaison internally to our Finance, Reinsurance and Underwriting Departments with a goal to both disseminate on-time information as well as to provide guidance on the direction of our business. I managed and verified claims financial data on a weekly and annual basis. I conducted departmental training, and guided global IT initiatives representing our department with a mindset on group functionality, clarity and a corporate competitive advantage.

Substantive development from an original position as a Manager to train junior employees, removed to an independent position to address Business Interruption Claims following 9/11 tragedy, with subsequent position with our Munich Home Office in an internal consulting role to assist affliates on large property claims worldwide. Due to restructuring, I returned to work for Allianz in Chicago in a senior position to fill out the department.
