I held the position of Finance Director in a fast-paced, high growth, PE backed technology service business for the last 9 years. The business had a wide variety of revenue streams including a B2C brand build proposition, long term B2B contracts, SaaS software and white label tech solutions. There was an element of online retail sales and significant exposure to online digital tools to improve conversion and customer lifetime value using customer behaviour analytics, customer segmentation and Business Intelligence. Key skills and experiences gained during my time as Finance Director: • Private Equity – experience of two PE owners and owner managed business• Sale of business including all stages from Due Diligence, Management Presentations and Data room• Acquisitions, mergers, JV partnerships, integration and investment appraisal• Legal – considerable contract review and commercial negotiation of short and long term B2B contracts• KPI development for management and investors including working with BI team, waterfall conversions and high volume of data and transactions• Financial input into Technology Digital Platform and digital conversion of customers to sale of 120,000 customers applications per month • Experience of B2B through a brand build focusing on PPC, SEO, TV, customer re-engagement as well as B2C environment including white labelled affinity solutions, outsource solutions (ITO and BPO) and SaaS. • Using BI to understand conversion, KPI’s, data insight, creating customer lifetime value• Business partnering and decision support with Senior Management Team• Marketing – considerable oversight including TV campaigns and appraisal• Board exposure and input into strategy• All key aspects of financial reporting, audit and tax• Compliance, Risk, Data Protection in FS regulated environment
