I have extensive experience in the resources industry in Australia, Laos, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, Solomon Islands, Ethiopia and Southern Africa. I have worked on medium to very large scale projects at all stages of development including gold, base metals, uranium and gas project developments.In recent roles I have focussed on provision of advisory services to the mining and energy departments of developing countries in Africa and Asia to building capacity and provide institutional strengthening.My interests lay in environmentally responsible, socially equitable resource development.When out of the office I am following my twin passions of birdwatching and wildlife photography.

I also resolved a impasse with industry and Government over proposed drafting of an auction clause. The revised law was passed by National Assembly in November 2017.
