Carrying out the annual inspection of existing traffic signal equipment, the installation of new traffic signal equipment in greenfield sites to fit a given specification and the retro fitting of equipment into existing sites.I am also involved in the design of new signalised junctions using AutoCAD for the layout and IC4 for the controler configuration.

This was a 4 year apprenticeship as a trainee mechanical engineer. I shadowed engineers gaining hands on knowledge of the various plant equipment. Throughout the 4 years I gained more experience which enabled me to work unsupervised in the final year.Servicing and installing various types of pumps, gearboxes, valves and plant equipment on break downs as well as yearly shut downs.
