Retired Sr. Vice President for Global Engineering and Sustainability, Was responsible for the optimized and efficient operations of the company’s facilities, drivers and package flow technologies. Had responsibilities driving UPS’s automation strategy. Also was responsible for UPS’s conscientious approach to sustainability in the 220 countries and territories it serves. Held role of President of UPS Supply Chain Solutions prior to the Sr. VP position. Also served as vice president for Industrial Engineering, where I was responsible for capacity planning, package and hub operations, methods and work measurement, technology support and daily network and contingency planning. Prior to this position, directed international engineering to support UPS’s global expansion, operations support and network planning.Began his UPS career in 1986 in Arizona as an engineering specialist and driver. During his career, he has held various engineering and operations leadership positions in the West, Southwest and North Central parts of the U.S. A Minnesota native, Wallace holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Arizona State University.Currently own my consulting business(MR Wallace Consulting, LLC) focusing on logistics, engineering and transportation. Leveraging my over 30 years of engineering and transportation skills at UPS. I also hold the position of Chairman of the Board for the USA for UNHCR. Have been in the role since January 2019 and a member of the board since 2015.
