An experienced engineer who after spent 24 years understanding vibration behaviour in aircraft engines. After setting up and running a small brewery for a few years I am now working in the building industry on developing corrosion monitoring systems for large and medium size commercial buildings. My working career has focused on the collection of physical data which is analysed to provide understanding of component and system behaviour. I started my career creating a system to collect and analysis to validate a composite material impact model. I then moved RR where I mainly worked on the understand component and engine vibration behaviour. This work involved developing the systems and methods required to understand large volumes of engine test data to provide the information required for design certification and model validation. I also developed an on-wing vibration monitoring system providing engine vibration characterises from each flight to assist in the engine maintenance planning. I am now using the skills I developed at RR in the building management industry where my experience in monitoring techniques as been invaluable in developing water and corrosion monitoring systems to assist in maintenance planning in large commercial office building.Specialties: Condition monitoring, Data acquisition and analysis systems, System acceptance testing, Test planning, Large scale data analysis, Process and quality system development.
Listed skills include Aerospace, Condition Monitoring, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, and 21 others.
