Rongwood

• Designed, developed, tested and implemented 2010 R&D 100 award winning digitally controlled syringe product (eVol).
• Undertook all documentation for the eVol project including product user manual, firmware help screens and firmware specification.
• Completed all aspects of product release including BOM’s, work instructions, assembly techniques and trained production staff on new processes.
• Developed new production technique, both prototype and then a fully automated production system for stainless steel diffusion bonding (Silflow).
• Main technical lead in on-site meetings with international external partners and then main technical lead in product development, testing and implementation of custom design solution for an automated liquid handling.

Dandenong

• Develop rapid response manufacturing cell for the production of compressor seals for implementation in Australia, USA and China
• Work all aspects of the above project including programming and testing of a small scale CNC machining center
• Develop user interface to allow unskilled staff to produce correct, in spec parts every time
• Develop post processing machine to add features to seals that could not be added at initial machining step
• Visit overseas sites to implement the systems and provide training
• Provide engineering support for Asian region and develop necessary software engineering tools

Burwood

• Selecting and sizing process control instrumentation to suit client requirements in harsh environments and process conditions
• Work with external contractors to provide custom engineering solutions to mate with off the shelf instrumentation
• Prepare quotations to provide total turn-key instrumentation package solutions
• Site visits to assist with installation and problem solving of new/existing instrumentation
