AWS Architect – Principal architect to build-out a DevOps toolchain on AWS. Identified functional requirements, designed toolchain stack and implemented CI/CD pipelines to support mutable\immutable infrastructure. The solution is built in containers on AWS ECS\ECR.

AWS Architect – Senior architect for data center migration based on AWS “6 Rs” — retire, retain, re-host, re-platform, re-purchase, and re-factor. This included: identifying\documenting application dependencies, selecting\sizing AWS EC2 Instance(s), target migration type, cost modeling and project management sprints. Client was migrating both Bare Metal\VMWare systems to AWS Cloud.

Solution Architect – provided technical direction and supervision of the entire development lifecycle as it relates to application architecture and infrastructure. This included helping clients with software development in design, configuration and applying "lessons learned" best practices for agile methodology.Major Projects:• McKinsey & Company - member of senior architect team providing recommendation\roadmap for I-Staffing application. This was technology cook-off\assessment for containers, virtual machine & serverless deployments including server vs client-side rendering development. The serverless architecture utilized cloud storage (only: html/images) firing single-purpose java functions (API gateway) based on lambda triggers. The client wanted to better understand “impact” and embrace latest cloud practices and implementations.• Los Angeles County Assessor Portal - lead architect for technology stack refresh engagement responsible for security and application development standards. Oversaw both security and development teams by leading by example. Applied programming best practices based on ADF Application Architecture Patterns. Established Oracle Identity & Access Management design and configuration standards for the developers. • Bank of America – principal architect of the customer’s architecture and engineering design. Oversaw sessions to implement "active-active" multi-site Fusion Middleware. Provided infrastructure guidance on NetApp storage and replication, local and global traffic management with F5 BigIP, local and wide-area networking for capacity and capability, high-availability and disaster recovery, and process optimization for construction and maintenance. Worked with Oracle Product Management and Engineering to assure alignment with current and future-state of products.

Senior Product Architect – principal architect responsible for architecture and long-term strategic direction for software professional services. Assisted clients with defining statements of work, documenting requirements and implementing best practices for enterprise architecture, SOA\Micro-services, and consulting services.Major Projects:• Kraft Foods Corporation – principal architect overseeing an enterprise team chartered to modernize the client’s existing technology infrastructure (technology stack refresh) as well as reengineering outdated business processes. This included communicating vision and direction and coordinating on-shore\off-shore deliverables across organizational boundaries to meet project timelines and requirements. In addition, the enterprise team created a reference implementation using standards-based integration patterns and a common set of APIs to allow developers to write services exposing reengineered processes or jobs for a new batch processing infrastructure.• General Motors Acceptance Corporation – designed architecture and migration strategy to Sun SOA\ESB Product Suite. This included assessment for 80+ existing business interfaces including strategic and integration planning. Conducted workshops for best practices, and affirm business requirements for Sun AIM Software deliverables. Lead developing two native Sun SOA\ESB applications to support Retail Self-Service (RSS) and Warranty (Claims) business units.• Infinity Auto Insurance – senior architect responsible for mentoring development teams based on agile methodology and test-driven development\continuous integration best practices.
