With nineteen years experience in IP I have worked in all areas and regions of administration. I have managed my own section since 2000, initially the formalities Engineering group at M&C and various sections since including National Processing, UK Prosecution, EP Prosecution and post grant before becoming a manager at British Telecom. At BT I was responsible for maintaining all aspects of formalities for BT's IP portfolio's using the internal docketing systems IPSS and IPSS.NET. This included liasing with inventors and management to ensure the pre launch protection of all the current projects. I also heavily assisted in the BT rebranding project as well as all other aspects of people and portfolio management.I later joined Boult Wade Tennant as the formalities manager and have since had charge of all responsibilities regarding formalities, renewals and internal administrative development. During my time I have had heavy exposure to working on and rule writing for Inprotech, some exposure to Foundation IP, Ipendo and IP forecaster as well as external annuity service software companies and forecast budgeting tool packages.I have also attended various IEUG meetings and conferences around Europe and The United States as well as heavily assisting with Inprotech software upgrades and the testing thereof.
