Oversaw the office's AutoCAD & BIM (Building Information Modeling) integration and design, data management, while still being highly focused on project design and quick turnover. Responsible for clash detection, project coordination, and keeping open lines of communication with clients and designers.

Primarily worked on mechanical layout design in industrial, commercial, health care/municipality facilities, and some larger end residential projects. Projects vary from new buildings to renovation work. Mechanical duties include site surveys, heat load calculations, system selections, duct and louver sizing, gas riser diagrams, diffuser selections, cost estimates. Plumbing duties include site surveys, pipe routing/sizing, equipment selections, schematic design. Attending design development, and progress coordination meetings with project team and clients. CAD Lead duties included updating software, creating file libraries, troubleshooting issues and answering questions related to AutoCAD and various office software.

Created working construction drawings for a mechanical engineer in coordination with architectural, structural, electrical, and civil plans; as well as, markups and field studies. Created As-Built drawings from redlines. Aspects of this job include plumbing, HVAC/ductwork, process piping, and fire protection design. Other duties included field surveys of existing tenant spaces and buildings under construction, providing assistance to others with CAD related problems, and general office duties.

Worked in many venues of residential construction with an independent contractor that included: framing, deck construction, installing wall systems, hardwood flooring, cabinetry, casing windows and doors, light/medium carpentry, and custom stonework.
