The role of the Strategic Consultant is to collaborate with some of the largest UK clients in order to understand their needs and develop solutions and efficiencies across these firms to the benefit of the client. Once these have been agreed upon, they are then implemented over extended periods of time with the Strategic Consultant project managing while using experience and expertise to steer the project.Duties Include:● Develop a thorough understanding of client structures in terms of personnel, systems and processes in order to identify the most appropriate solutions for clients.● Manage projects and resources across the FactSet side and to liaise with key stakeholders within the client and externally where required.● Thoroughly document process and analysis for reference across internal teams and clients.● Keep up to date with challenges in the Wealth Management Industry in order to provide the most up to date and appropriate solutions for clients, e.g. Solvency II and MIFID II.

Following a strong performance as a Consultant within the Wealth Management territory, I was promoted to Senior Consultant in March 2014. The role is for experienced consultants who will lead by example, have excellent industry and product knowledge and provide outstanding service to clients Duties Include: - Fulfil all of the requirements of the Consultant role (below) to a high standard.- Take responsibility for the managements of more complex and challenging accounts.- Manage large scale projects, implementing customised solutions to large wealth managers.- Lead initiatives, training and promote best practice across junior consultants

As a consultant at FactSet, my role is to liaise with and advise UK based Wealth Management clients regarding their use of the FactSet application.On a day to day basis I am involved in working on projects for individual users as well as projects across whole businesses. Additionally, I frequently meet clients in order to understand their investment process and needs from FactSet. Finally, I also provide guidance on how users can get the most out of the FactSet system.
