-performing and leading laboratory testing tasks in various projects, proctors, sieve analysis, concrete cylinders breaking for compressive strength, and other tasks in geotechnical lab.-Retain and develop all lab and field related documents, such as CCIL record, CNSC record, etc.-Set up and update the training program for FIT lab personnel, perform research regarding new technologies and standards for geo/civil material testing.-Direct the quality control of Operations of the FIT Geotechnical & Materials testing activities in NWR site, Alberta and implement the quality control protocol for Geotechnical and Material testing services.-Develop and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) on quality performance. Accountable for, and ensures that the technical service of FIT meet client’s expectations in a timely and effective manner while observing corporate quality, environmental, Health & Safety and regulatory requirements-Review daily testing / inspection reports, conduct client meeting for quality auditing. Ensure the quality, competence and efficiency of FIT lab personal.-Assist Business Development in the accurate preparation of Geo-technical Proposals, Bids & Tenders.-Work closely with the Geotechnical Operations Management team to ensure all operations are carried out and delivered in accordance with contractual specifications, applicable regulations and technical best practice and to assist in the development of new technologies and methodologies-Be responsible for the training of technical personal such as lab technician and build FIT geotechnical department with strong and solid engineering foundation. Also get involved in the training system of field technologist and lab personnel.-Ensures the training needs of staff are met and maintains a motivated workforce. Sets goals, reviews job performance of lab activates, and assesses training needs at least once annually.
